Try to allow sufficient time to explore Winchester at the end of your walk and still reach The Great Hall befoe it closes, so that you can get your guidebook stamped with 'Seal of Arrival'.

For those completing the journey in the reverse direction seals are available from the Tourist Information Centre at Windsor.
